Ilja Dragunov has named some first time opponents he wants to face in WWE.
Ilja is one of the hardest hitting WWE superstars in the promotion. He has put on some incredible matches during his tenure in the company and it does not seem that the NXT star has any intention of slowing down. During his time in NXT, he has had incredible matches with Trick Williams, Carmelo Hayes, Gunther and more.
Speaking with Phil Strum on Under The Ring, Dragunov was asked to name some first time ever opponents he would like to face in a WWE ring.
“There are countless people. This company is filled with an unlimited amount of great talent, so there’s so many people I think I can create something special with. One of the people that comes to my mind is definitely Shinsuke Nakamura, people like Seth Rollins, who also have all this artistic expressive way with the people, and you see how over he is and all the attention he gets. Definitely, as long as the chance is still there, maybe one of the people who were the first I’ve been watching, like Rey Mysterio for example,”

Ilja is currently set to challenge Carmelo Hayes for the NXT Championship once again at NXT No Mercy this weekend.
We will have to wait and see if Dragnov will get the chance to face off with his dream opponents on the main roster.
