Tony Khan is open to Rob Van Dam returning to All Elite Wrestling.
Most recently, Rob appeared on AEW Collision, teaming with HOOK against Angelo Parker and Daddy Magic. Before that, he had a mini feud with Jack Perry for the FTW Championship in a match that was received well by many fans.
Now, Tony Khan has kept the door open for a return to the company for the ECW original. During the AEW WrestleDream media call, Khan was asked about holding a show at the Hammerstein Ballroom, going on to confirm that he is open to another RVD appearance in the future.
Tony is asked about if there is any consideration about potentially running the hammerstein ballroom. Goes off on a story about his Dad talking to Hook at the first Grand Slam about Taz. Now he is talking about Hook’s recent match on collision with RVD, and now is talking about the ratings against the Ohio St. and ND. He says he is open to RVD returning in the future and would love to have him back any time it makes sense for everyone.
Rob Van Dam was expected to be a large part of WWE WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia next April, but with the string of AEW appearances, that has been called into doubt for the WWE Hall Of Famer.
