Edge has been removed from WWE’s internal roster.
On a recent SmackDown last month, Edge was able to defeat Sheamus with the spear while celebrating his 25th anniversary with the promotion.
After the match, Edge took a microphone and let the Toronto crowd know that it was his final match in the city. With this information, many have speculated Edge could be on his way to AEW.
Now, it looks like Edge is definitively leaving WWE.
PWInsider first reported the update, noting that the ‘Rated-R Superstar’ was removed from the miscellaneous section of the roster. Edge is still currently listed on WWE’s public roster, which can be seen on WWE.com.
Edge is still listed on WWE.com on the roster as of this writing.
AEW’s Anthony Bowens recently stated he wants to scissor with Edge
