Jody Threat had a big secret that she couldn’t reveal until the company was ready.

A vignette hyping the debut of Jody Threat first aired during the LIVE Sacrifice event on 3/24. Two weeks later on the 4/6 IMPACTonAXSTV episode, Threat would make her long-awaited in-ring debut with IMPACT Wrestling, taking on independent Canadian talent Tara Rising.

Speaking on the Paltrocast With Darren Paltrowitz, Threat was asked to comment on how long she had to keep her move to IMPACT a secret.

“Probably like four months. It was very challenging. Four months we just sat on it, like an egg, just waiting for it to hatch,” Threat said.
Threat also noted that she did not know who her opponent in her first match would be throughout this four-month period.

Threat recently defeated former IMPACT Knockouts Tag Team Champion KiLynn King on the 9/14 episode of Before The IMPACT. She was scheduled to take on King again during last weekends Mid-South Mayhem TV tapings, which will air over the next few weeks.
