LA Knight could be on his way to a title match wth Roman Reigns.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that it appears LA Knight is being groomed for an opportunity at Roman Reigns’ WWE Undisputed Universal Championship.
“[LA] Knight, who is very hot right know when it comes to all facets of business and reactions, appears to be groomed for a Roman Reigns title shot in the not too distant future.”

LA Knight unfortunately had to miss Friday’s SmackDown due to testing positive for Covid-19, but he is still involved in plans for big things at Fastlane, should he get over his bout with the illness before the show.
According to PW Insider, WWE sources have verified that Knight is expected to return on the upcoming September 29 SmackDown episode in Sacramento, California.
We will have to wait and see what comes next for Knight, but it seems that he is being groomed for big things in the near future.
John Cena is currently scheduled for tag team action at Fastlane against Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa, but his previous partner, AJ Styles was taken out by The Bloodline.
Now, Cena is left without a partner for the event, which seems to be where Knight will slide in to an undoubtedly huge reaction for the incredibly over mega star.
