LA Knight’s positive Covid test last week did not change a large aspect of last Friday’s edition of SmackDown.
LA Knight unfortunately had to miss Friday’s SmackDown due to testing positive for Covid-19, but he is still involved in plans for big things at Fast Lane, should he get over his bout with the illness before the show.
Ringside News reached out to find out what was changed due to the positive Covid test and were told AJ Styles was always intended to be taken out by The Bloodline.
Ringside News reached out to confirm those plans, and we were told by a tenured member of the WWE creative team that, “AJ Styles was set up for this stretcher angle even before LA Knight had COVID.”

Now, John Cena is left without a partner for Fastlane, which seems to be where Knight will slide in to an undoubtedly huge reaction for the incredibly over mega star once he is cleared of Covid-19.
