Matt Riddle has garnered heat backstage in WWE.
Riddle has been under fire recently, especially due to his recent incident at JFK airport on the way back from Superstar Spectacle in India.
In the last 10 days, many talent have been released from their WWE contract including the likes of Mustafa Ali and Dolph Ziggler, which surprised many fans. Last Friday, Matt Riddle was also let go from the promotion.
Yesterday, a report came out stating that Riddle garnered heat in WWE for going off script in a promo.
Ringside News reached out to confirm this story and were told that Riddle had been involved in a couple dozen instances where he received heat in WWE.
“Yes it’s true, but that was so long ago, and he’s gotten heat for a couple of dozen other things since then as well.”

Riddle is a former tag team champion in NXT and the main roster, while also having a run with the United States Championship.
He is also a multi time challenger for world titles in WWE, but was never able to achieve that goal in the company.
Riddle signed with WWE in 2018, enjoying a stint on NXT before making his way to the WWE main roster in 2020.
