Kurt Angle sees Shelton Benjamin and Dolph Ziggler ending up in another wrestling promotion after their releases.
Recently, WWE released several talent from their deals following the TKO Group merger. Among those released were veterans Shelton Benjamin and Dolph Ziggler.
Kurt Angle commented on the releases of both men on the most recent episode of The Kurt Angle Show podcast.
“I told Shelton, ‘Good luck in your future endeavors.’ He just said, ‘Thanks, brother.’ I was really shocked to see that, especially Dolph. What he’s contributed to the business the last 12 years, it’s nothing short of amazing, but also Shelton. Shelton is so incredible in that ring. I’m just surprised that they were let go. I understand. It’s business, business is business. That’s how it’s gonna happen. I see them going to another promotion. They’re not done with their careers yet,”

Benjamin and Ziggler are both long time veterans of the industry, so they would be valued member of any roster. However, both men will have to wait 90 days before they sign for another company due to their non-compete clauses.
