Katsuyori Shibata says he is ready to a make a commitment with AEW.
At AEW WrestleDream, Katsuyori Shibata looked to become a triple crown champion when he challenged Eddie Kingston for the NJPW STRONG Openweight championship as well as the Ring Of Honor World Title. Kingston would win after an intense bout between the two men.
Shibata is also the Ring Of Honor Pure Champion and has been a familiar face on All Elite Wrestling and Ring Of Honor television since making his debut at Forbidden Door 2022.
At the AEW WrestleDream post-show media scrum, Katsuyori Shibata was asked whether he has any contractual ties with NJPW or AEW.
“If Tony wished, I am ready to make a commitment,”

We will have to wait and see if Shibata will sign on the dotted line with AEW in the near future.
