Tony Khan Confirms AEW WrestleDream Will Be An Annual Event
AEW WrestleDream will be an annual event.
During the AEW WrestleDream post show media scrum, Tony Khan announced that the PPV will be an annual event, but would not confirm if the show will return to Seattle next year.
WrestleDream was put together to honor Antonio Inoki, who passed away on October 1, 2022.
Khan said buys for AEW WrestleDream were up from AEW All Out and that it did over 100,000 buys.
WrestleDream featured the All Elite Wrestling debut of Adam Copeland as well as some incredible matches from top to bottom in Seattle, Washington.
Copeland is scheduled to face Luchasauras in his AEW debut on Title Tuesday and will speak on this week’s AEW Dynamite.
Copeland is said to be looking to take over the role CM Punk served in the company prior to his firing, minus the drama.
