Exclusive Interview With Pro Wrestling NOAH Superstar Kaito Kiyomiya
Pro Wrestling NOAH superstar Kaito Kiyomiya is without a doubt one of the best wrestlers in the world today. 2023 has been a very eventful year for Kiyomiya, he began the year off as the GHC Heavyweight Champion, had an epic match with Kenoh on January 1st and he has competed in his first NJPW G1 Climax tournament. In addition to his accomplishments, he continues be completely devoted to promoting and getting more eyes on Pro Wrestling NOAH.
Currently, Kaito Kiyomiya has formed a tag team with NJPW star on excursion Ryohei Oiwa. Kiyomiya invited Oiwa to compete in NOAH following the end of the G1 Climax. The two are undefeated as a tag team in NOAH.
Kaito Kiyomiya will be traveling to Canada and the USA as he is scheduled for the BCW 30th Anniversary Show in Windsor, Ontario on October 7th and the Wrestling Revolver event in Dayton, Ohio on October 8th.
Kaito Kiyomiya graciously gave Bodyslam.net’s Lewis Carlan an exclusive interview as they discussed a number of topics.

Lewis: Yoshinari Ogawa seems to have a big problem with you returning to NOAH after the G1
Climax. Why do you think that is?
Kiyomiya: I don’t know myself.
Lewis: You and Ryohei Oiwa have only just started competing as a tag team, how do you feel about Oiwa’s growth?
Kiyomiya: We train together every day. Every time we have a match, I feel that he is absorbing more and more from various players.
Lewis: What do you think about Oiwa calling out Naomichi Marufuji? Is it too soon for Oiwa to
challenge a respected veteran?
Kiyomiya: I think Ryohei-san has his own ideas and thoughts, I don’t think it is too early or too late to challenge a senior.
Lewis: Kenoh will be getting the next opportunity for the GHC Heavyweight Title against Jake Lee, despite who wins; will you be looking for an opportunity to regain the GHC Heavyweight Championship?
Kiyomiya: Right now I am concentrating on the tag team with Ryohei.
Lewis: Are you surprised at the success Jake Lee has been achieving?
Kiyomiya: I am not surprised.
Lewis: You will be in Canada and the USA in early October, what can you tell us about the appearances and what we can expect from you while in North America?
Kiyomiya: To the wrestling fans in North America: I will promote Kaito Kiyomiya and NOAH.
This will be my first overseas trip in six years, so I hope to absorb a lot of things both in the
matches and outside of them. I hope to absorb a lot of things.
Lewis: Do you think you are the face of Pro Wrestling NOAH?
Kiyomiya: I think that is for the people who watch me to decide.
Lewis: What does the future hold for Kaito Kiyomiya?
Kiyomiya: I will go as far as I can go with Ryohei.
