Monday Night RAW Script Was Re-Written Sunday Evening Due To Injuries
Monday Night RAW had its script re-written on Sunday evening.
On last night’s RAW, it was revealed that both Damian Priest and Becky Lynch were ruled out of competing as neither were cleared for action on the show. With both talents being advertised for matchups, this caused significant changes to the show.
Jey Uso and Damian Priest’s match was pulled, while Tegan Nox and Becky Lynch’s NXT Women’s title match was moved to next week’s RAW, with Nox facing Chelsea Green on the show instead.
Ringside News now reports that the show was heavily re-written on Sunday evening due to the injuries.
Ringside News reached out to a tenured member of the team to ask about how this week’s episode of RAW came together. We were told that there were, “too many injuries that forced Raw to be re-written Sunday afternoon and evening.”

RAW opened with a multi woman brawl and closed with the return of Johnny Gargano this week.
