Becky Lynch has actively lobbied for Mick Foley to manage talent in WWE.
Mick Foley has been happy to sit on the sidelines over the course of the last few years, after a stint as the RAW General Manager. In that time however, Foley has launched his own podcast, has been providing voice work for WWE games and more.
Speaking on his Foley is Pod podcast, Foley was asked if he wanted to give back some more by managing anyone in AEW. Mick would note that Becky Lynch has been lobbying for years for him to manage talent.
“I can’t think of anybody offhand. Because honestly, I don’t think I have much to offer in a managerial role. Do you know who’s always wanted me to do an angle, like from a managerial perspective? Becky Lynch. She’s pointed that out a few times. I said, ‘Becky, if you can talk to the powers that be, I would,’ but she’s doing really well on her own. So I can’t I can’t think offhand of somebody who could benefit from me standing around ringside as a middle-aged man. So I’m open to ideas though,

Foley may not have taken Lynch up on her idea, but he remains part of the industry through his aforementioned voice work and podcast.
We will have to wait and see if Foley will one day come out of retirement to manage an on screen talent.
