Tony Khan Explains Why AEW Announced Tickets Sold For All In
Tony Khan explains why AEW announced the tickets sold as attendance back at All In.
Back at the end of August, All Elite Wrestling would host the biggest event of their short history inside Wembley Stadium. The event was a massive success, despite attendance numbers being confusing and leading to much discourse on social media.
Tony Khan explained in a social media post last night why at the event the company announced paid attendance, rather than another form of counting the attendance for the massive event.
The reason I announced the actual paid attendance 81,035 tickets sold, instead of saying over 85,000 tix distributed, is because our 81,035 sold at #AEWAllIn @WembleyStadium in London is the all-time ticket sales record, whereas WCW North Korea shows hold tix distributed record.

Well that is that.
AEW is heading back to Wembley next August for the second iteration of AEW All In, so we will have to wait and see if AEW can top their attendance from this year.
