John Cena Comments On Seeing Umaga In Solo Sikoa
John Cena comments on seeing Umaga in his nephew, Solo Sikoa.
Since making his WWE main roster debut as part of The Bloodline, Solo has been compared to his uncle Umaga. Solo’s no nonsense style, lack of talking and incredible agility for a big man has only made these comparisons louder.
Speaking on WWE’s The Bump, Cena was asked about Solo and how alike he is to Cena’s former rival, Umaga.
“The striking parallel that he runs to Umaga in every facet. To be put in that conversation is rarefied air. Solo is a bit of a conundrum, but when I see him and I see him perform, I think of the hard fought battles I had with Umaga and the parallels,” he said.
Asked if Sikoa is too loyal to Roman, Cena replied, “Man, you’re talking to the guy who has hustle, loyalty, and respect branded on everything he puts out there. I never fault loyalty, I do fault blind loyalty. Solo’s really new to the game, I don’t blame him for trying to take a second to figure out the landscape.”

Cena will face off with Solo and his brother Jimmy Uso at WWE Fastlane this weekend, as he teams with LA Knight at the event.
