WWE Creative Has Likely Pitched An Uncle Howdy Return
WWE may not want to let the character of Uncle Howdy slip through their fingers.
Back in August, we unfortunately lost a much loved member of the industry in Bray Wyatt. Wyatt was out of action since prior to April and tragically passed away due to heart issues triggered by a bout with Covid-19.
Without Bray, there has been much made about the possibility of the Uncle Howdy character returning to WWE television.
Ringside News enquired about the status of Uncle Howdy’s character, noting that someone has likely been continuing pitches for the character.
Ringside News was told by a tenured member of the creative team that Triple H “is always open to ideas from the writers, and there are always ideas regarding different talents.” That being said, Triple H has not shut down hearing ideas that would bring Uncle Howdy back to television.
We were told that, “I’m sure someone has” pitched a creative idea to bring Uncle Howdy back into the creative picture. That being said, and idea of Uncle Howdy’s return “is not coming from the top down, it’s coming from pitches.”

Uncle Howdy, who is played by Bo Dallas, has also interacted with Alexa Bliss on WWE television.
We will have to wait and see how long it is until we see Uncle Howdy back on our screens.
