A highly touted female talent quietly signed a deal with All Elite Wrestling earlier this year.
Back in April, Tony Schiavone stated on his podcast that AEW had signed one of the brightest young stars on the independent circuit, Billie Starkz. This was recently confirmed by Billie herself, but it appears she was not the only one, as AEW has also signed what many considered to be one of the top female talents in the business.
Lady Frost made her Ring of Honor debut back in February on the very first episode of ROH on HonorClub from Universal Studios in Orlando. She appeared on numerous episodes throughout the Spring, before making her return to AEW Television on the May 24th 2023 episode of Dynamite in a losing effort to Taya Valkyrie, after having previously appeared on AEW Dark in 2020. Since then, Frost challenged Kris Statlander twice for the TBS Title, once at AEW House Rules in Huntsville, Alabama and then again on Collision in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. More recently, Lady Frost has appeared on six of the last eight episodes of ROH on HonorClub, and one of those episodes was missed due to travel issues.
While speaking to multiple sources, it was confirmed to me that Lady Frost actually quietly signed with AEW months ago. While her signing with the company has not been confirmed publicly by either Frost or AEW, her signing had been kept quiet similar to that of Billie Starkz. Details of her signing were not given to me, other than the fact that it appears she signed her deal “many months ago.”
Prior to finding her way to the AEW Women’s Roster, Lady Frost had been a highly touted signing by IMPACT Wrestling back in 2021, when it was reported she had signed a long term deal. However, things between Frost and IMPACT appeared to sour. She suffered an injury that required minor surgery in May of 2022. Frost would then publicly announce the following month (June) that she had requested her release from the company.
We will keep you updated if we hear anything more about Lady Frost and her AEW/ROH status.
