The Undisputed Tag Team Championships were on the line to kick off WWE Fastlane, as The Judgment Day took on Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes in tag team action.
During Judgement Day’s entrance, commentary would lay into Priest as Mr Money In The Bank paying close attention to the World Heavyweight Championship match later on tonight.
Early on Jey Uso would take a lot of damage early on with Finn Balor and Damian Priest putting a world of hurt on the 8 time tag champion.
However, soon enough Cody and Jey would take control of the matchup with quick tags and high impact moves. The match would be turned around yet again by Priest and Balor bending the rules to their advantage.
The match would continue to be back and forth until Jey would hit a spear on Damian Priest, leading to Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio making their way ringside. This would lead to a hurricanarana Coup De Grace combo leading for a near fall. Priest would seem to tweak his knee on this spot.
Cody Rhodes would hit Cross Rhodes on Damian Priest on the announce table, taking him out. Cody and Jey would then hit a modified 1D.
Shortly after, Cody would hit Cross Rhodes and covered Finn for the victory.
