Kurt Angle Says Adam Copeland’s AEW Signing Is “Good For Wrestling”
Kurt Angle says Adam Copeland’s AEW signing is good for wrestling.
During last Sunday’s AEW WrestleDream event, Adam Copeland made his promotional debut to confront his lifelong friend Christian Cage as he was about to conchairto Sting.
Copeland’s debut was one that has took the wrestling world by storm as the YouTube clip has amounted an incredible amount of views.
On the latest episode of his podcast, The Kurt Angle Show, Angle reacted to the debut of Adam Copeland in AEW.
“Let me tell you, it’s a good thing, and I’m not saying this because I’m trying to protect my ass now. It’s good when guys cross over because Edge, there are a lot of guys he hasn’t faced in AEW. Guys like Samoa Joe or Sting, MJF, and a lot of great wrestlers. This is really good for the fans because they’re gonna see new matchups, new faces, they’re gonna see Edge face these different competitors, and they’re going to be different matches, they’re going to have a different flavor. I think it’s really good. I think it’s good for wrestling. I think it’s good for Edge.”

Copeland is scheduled to face Luchasauras in his AEW debut on Title Tuesday and spoke on this week’s AEW Dynamite.
Copeland is said to be looking to take over the role CM Punk served in the company prior to his firing, minus the drama.
It was also confirmed that it was Beth Phoenix who recorded the “You Think You Know Me” in Copeland’s AEW theme.
