Exclusive: NXT Plans Were Everchanging During Blockbuster Episode This Week, Internal Reaction After Last Night’s Show

NXT this week has pulled in a monster number of over 920,000 viewers up against tough opposition in AEW Dynamite: Title Tuesday.

The show was incredibly stacked and featured previously announced appearances from Cody Rhodes, John Cena, Paul Heyman and Asuka mixing with the NXT roster.

Also featured on the show were several surprises we exclusively reported yesterday, as LA Knight, Solo Sikoa, Shotzi and “The American Badass” The Undertaker rolled into the WWE Performance Centre for the “greatest NXT of all time”.

With such a stacked edition of the show, comes a chaotic environment. In asking about how the show came together, multiple Bodyslam.net sources in NXT have stated that the backstage environment at the show was hectic, with segments on the show being moved around frequently.

With so many moving parts on the show, with multiple surprises and big time guests, it is unsurprising that the show would require some shifting as the night went on, with one NXT source telling us that they believed the show was “pulled off amazingly,” also putting emphasis on the part the hot crowd played in the shows success.

We will have to wait and see if NXT will be able to continue this success into next week’s show.
