Kota Ibushi Confirms He Signed With AEW On Night Of Blood And Guts, Reveals Details Of His Deal
Kota Ibushi is signed to All Elite Wrestling.
Back at AEW Dynamite: Blood and Guts, The Elite became The Golden Elite as Kota Ibushi was the final partner for the team in their Blood And Guts matchup with The Blackpool Combat Club. The Golden Elite would pick up the victory and since then, Kota has made several appearances for All Elite Wrestling, including at All In and WrestleDream.
Now, in an interview with HD Subs, Kota confirmed that he has signed with the promotion, and that he had several conditions including living in Japan, reduced dates and more. All of which AEW agreed to, which lead to Kota signing with the promotion back at Blood And Guts.
“During the discussion, they asked me how we could come to a deal. I said unless it has these conditions, I don’t want to sign a contract. That was the hardcore match, double ring, cage. That’s the day we signed the contract. We had a verbal agreement.”
I’m based in Japan, and I will travel for the matches. Basically I’m in Japan, I work in Japan. I will be active. There are other things that make the contract even more flexible. Like I could appear for other promotions.”

We will have to wait and see how many more dates Ibushi will continue to work for All Elite Wrestling.
