Tama Tonga has the first challenger for his third reign as the NEVER Openweight Champion.
At New Japan Pro-Wrestling Fighting Spirit Unleashed in Las Vegas on October 28th, Tama Tonga puts his NEVER Openweight Title on the line against Shingo Takagi.
Tama Tonga won the NEVER Openweight Title for the 3rd time back on October 9th when he defeated David Finlay for the championship.
Tonga and Shingo Takagi met each other in a singles bout at the G1 Climax 33 tournament. The match between the two went to a 20 minute time limit draw. After winning the NEVER Openweight Title, Tonga said he has unfinished business with Shingo Takagi. He will get a chance to finish up what was started with Takagi on October 28th at Fighting Spirit Unleashed.
