Chris Jericho Says Tony Khan Can Do Whatever He Wants When Asked About Recent Social Media Posts
Chris Jericho comments on Tony Khan’s recent social media posts.
Last week’s edition of WWE NXT was a huge event for the program and featured some of the top names in WWE, including legends such as Paul Heyman and John Cena.
Also featured on the show were some of the top stars of the WWE main roster, with Cody Rhodes, LA Knight, Asuka and more making their way to the WWE Performance Centre in Florida. The Undertaker would also make an appearance on the show.
The show would go head to head with AEW Dynamite: Title Tuesday in the ratings, with NXT coming out on top by a sizeable margin.
Tony Khan would take to social media in the days following, attacking WWE repeatedly in several posts and many have criticised his line of posting.
Speaking to The Messenger, Chris Jericho commented on the posts, noting that “billionaires are going to be billionaires.”
“I learned years ago that bosses are going to be bosses, and billionaires are going to be billionaires. I’ve been working for billionaires for 25 years. At this point, you can’t control Tony Khan. He’s going to do what he wants to do and God bless him. He created this company. He runs this company. He also grew up in the social media era. I’m not going to tell him, ‘Take your phone away,’ because he’s my boss. Say what you want. Whatever. I think it’d be worse if I said that stuff because I’m not the boss, you know?”
“Tony Khan owns AEW. He can do what he wants. I’m not going to tell him no.”

We will have to wait and see if Tony will continue to string these social media posts together and how the reaction will change in All Elite Wrestling, but it is worth noting that Khan’s tweets came right before he heavily promoted AEW’s upcoming shows.
