Exclusive: This Week’s NXT Internal Episode Name References Trick Williams

This week’s NXT had an internal name that referenced Trick Williams, who was a major part of this week’s show.

On Tuesday’s show, Trick Williams was announced for the Number 1 Contenders match for the NXT Championship. This was explained as Cody Rhodes’ final decision as NXT GM last week, but unfortunately for Williams, he was taken out before the main event matchup backstage, with Carmelo Hayes arriving on the scene too late to help his friend.

Last week, Bodyslam.net exclusively reported that last week’s blockbuster episode of the program was titled internally as “NXTMania.”

Now, multiple NXT sources have confirmed that this week’s show, which was centered around Williams, was simply named internally: “TRICK or Treat”.

Carmelo Hayes would end up winning the number 1 contenders match and will challenge for the NXT Championship against Ilja Dragunov at NXT Halloween Havoc.
