Matt Hardy Says Vince McMahon Not Being Involved With WWE Creative Will Help The Company
Matt Hardy weighs in on Vince McMahon being moved from WWE creative.
Since McMahon’s retirement in last year, there has been a power struggle for WWE creative control that has been between McMahon and Triple H. Recently, TKO have restored Triple H as head of WWE creative and have been “marginalizing” McMahon’s power in WWE.
Speaking on his Xtreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast, Matt weighed in on Vince no longer having creative power.
“At the end of the day, I think it’s a positive and a win for WWE. Vince, you can’t deny his contributions to sports entertainment, professional wrestling, and WWE. He is the greatest promoter of all time, that’s going to go on his tombstone as of right now. Times change. It was time to move on and have someone younger, more forward-thinking, someone who has their finger a little more on the pulse of pop culture and wrestling fans. Paul Levesque [Triple H] was the guy to go with. I think it’s a positive thing for WWE,”
Matt Hardy
We will have to wait and see if Triple H will remain the lead of creative once again and provide some much needed stability to WWE’s creative vision as we near closer and closer to the Road To WrestleMania.
