We now have an update on the designs for the new WWE tag team championships.
Since last year, the WWE tag team championships have been unified, with the champions able to jump from brand to brand in order to defend the titles on both RAW and SmackDown.
Currently, The Judgement Day are champions after they defeated Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes to reclaim them on RAW.
It has been reported over the past few months that the titles are due to be split at any point, with both brands once again having a set of titles. It has also been noted that the championships will be a new design.
Now, we know more about the designs. Cultaholic have now reported that the new designs were photo and video tested prior to Monday’s RAW.
New WWE tag team title belt designs were photo & video-tested during rehearsals ahead of this past week’s RAW 2 possible sets of new belts were tested. 1 set of belts was all gold with black straps. The other was a gold & silver design with one red and one blue strap.

We will have to wait and see when WWE decide to debut the new designs, and how they plan to announce the split of the championships.
