A major free agent is backstage at tonight’s AEW Collision.
Sami Callihan became a free agent on October 1st, finishing up a long run with IMPACT Wrestling that began back in 2017.
Many have wondered what comes next for Callihan and with his own promotion Wrestling Revolver garnering more and more notoriety in the business, it would be important to Callihan to factor the promotion into his next plan.
Now, Bodyslam.net has confirmed with multiple sources that Callihan is backstage at tonight’s AEW Collision in Memphis, Tennessee.
While asking around about the purpose of Callihan’s visit, it was also confirmed to us that Callihan is there to potentially discuss both a deal to work as an on screen talent and backstage with the promotion.
Sami is a former IMPACT World Heavyweight Champion and had a stint in WWE NXT prior to his run in IMPACT.
Callihan’s close friend Jon Moxley is a regular in All Elite Wrestling and has spoke in the past about Callihan making his way to the company.
