WWE are pursuing Will Ospreay, and the IWGP UK Champion is willing to listen.
Ospreay is at present, one of the top in ring performers in the world of professional wrestling as at just 32 years old, he has held a litany of championships in New Japan Pro Wrestling and around the world. He has been also brought more into the public eye over the course of the last few years, as he has worked some of AEW’s biggest events, including AEW All In.
That being said, when he becomes a free agent in 2024, that may not be his landing spot. Will has been open about his dip into free agency, recently noting that IMPACT could be his landing spot when his NJPW contract expires. But it seems a surprising contender is pursuing his signature.
On the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer confirmed that WWE are interested in Ospreay, and that the “Aerial Assassin” will listen to their offer.
“I know WWE is absolutely after him (Will Ospreay) and he is absolutely going to listen to WWE.”

Ospreay competed at IMPACT’s Bound For Glory event over the weekend, having yet another match of the year contender with “Speedball” Mike Bailey, defeating him.
We will have to wait and see where Ospreay ends up when he becomes a free agent next year.
Ospreay has hired new representation ahead of his free agency.
