Shota Umino Says It Would Be A Dream To Face Jon Moxley For The IWGP US Title At The Tokyo Dome

Shooter wants to take his shot at Jon Moxley at the Tokyo Dome.

Since Moxley made his way over to Japan in 2019, he has took the young Shota Umino under his wing. Shota has found his way over to AEW on several occasions and has remained aligned with Moxley and now The Blackpool Combat Club to this day.

Umino has a tremendous respect for Moxley, but like a lot of young stars in professional wrestling, he seeks to outdo his mentor.

Speaking to Tokyo Sports, Shota commented on potentially working against Moxley.

“When we first met, he had the US heavy belt around his waist, and I have a lot of feelings about it. It is one of my dreams to fight Moxley as a champion. If I could do it on the Tokyo Dome stage, I think it would be a good plan for me personally,”

Moxley is set to compete at NJPW Power Struggle against Great-O-Khan.
