Athena wants matches with both champions in All Elite Wrestling.
When Athena made her AEW debut at Double Or Nothing in 2022, she would make the save on several babyfaces being beaten up by Jade Cargill and her baddies. In the resulting feud, Athena found herself aligned with current TBS Champion Kris Statlander.
At present, she remains the Ring Of Honor Women’s World Champion and has become the face of Ring Of Honor on HonorClub.
During a recent K&S WrestleFest signing, Athena talked about possibly facing off with the champions of AEW, with Hikaru Shida and Kris Statlander holding the Women’s World Championship and TBS Championship.
“Right now, I’m the forever Ring of Honor Champion. It’s my show, my title, my family with Lexi and Billie [Billie Starkz]. My next goal is to get some more gold around my waist, maybe make an appearance on AEW, seeing if I can get under the skin of some of the champions over there and see if they’ll issue that challenge. They’re all cowards.
“I love Kris Statlander. I would love even more to kick her in the face. That would be beautiful. Hikaru Shida. I wrestled Shida a long time ago in SHIMMER, and I thoroughly enjoyed that match. I would love the opportunity to kick her in the face again. That would be beautiful.”

Athena most recently competed in AEW at WrestleDream in an eight person mixed tag team match, while she also competed on the October 12th edition of Ring Of Honor TV.
