The former UFC Heavyweight Champion gives his former foe his due.
At UFC 121, Cain Velasquez dethroned Brock Lesnar as UFC Heavyweight Champion when he finished him via punches.
The pair would meet again in 2019, this time in WWE after Brock became WWE Champion. The pair would square off at WWE Crown Jewel that year, with Lesnar picking up the victory that time around.
Recently, Cain appeared on Rampage Jackson’s podcast Rampage & Bear. During the interview, Velasquez discussed working with Lesnar in a wrestling environment.
“I guess. He was a little scarred up. It’s not like we did the thing and it was all good. He has something for life on his face. I don’t know if anybody tells him about it or puts it in his face,”

Rampage would then praise Lesnar as a professional wrestler, with Cain backing him up by calling Brock amazing and “legit.”
“He’s amazing. Amazing, amazing. He fucking…he’s the real deal. He’s legit.”

Velasquez would only compete the one time in a WWE ring.
Lesnar has not appeared on WWE television since SummerSlam, when he would lose to Cody Rhodes.
