Alex Shelley Injured, Replaced For Turning Point Event On 10/27
Alex Shelley is the current IMPACT Wrestling World Champion. He just successfully defended his title belt at Bound For Glory against former 2x World Champ, Josh Alexander. Prior to that, he defended successfully at Slammiversary against former TNA World Champion, now current GM of WWE Smackdown, Nick Aldis.
According to Cultaholic, sources close to IMPACT Wrestling have revealed that Alex Shelley sustained a leg injury at the UK Invasion Tour taping in Glasgow, Scotland on Thursday night.
Shelley was backstage at Turning Point and he was said to be “really badly limping”.
Alex Shelley was scheduled to team with Chris Sabin tonight to take on the Most Professional Wrestling Gods, Moose & Brian Myers. However, due to the injury he must’ve sustained last night on night 1 of the UK tour against Josh Alexander & Eric Young, Shelley was replaced by Frankie Kazarian tonight.
Myself and the Bodyslam hope that the Injury is not serious.
