“Everything Has Changed” In AEW’s Plans For Tag Team Championships
It has been a rocky road for the AEW World Tag Team Championships’ creative as of late.
The AEW tag titles were held by FTR for quite some time this year, until they lost the titles on AEW Collision a few weeks ago to Ricky Starks and Big Bill.
The title change came as a surprise to many, as FTR looked set for yet another match with The Young Bucks for the titles after The Bucks earned a shot at AEW WrestleDream.
Now, The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that the plans have completely changed from what they were originally.
FTR suggested the loss to Big Bill & Ricky Starks and the idea at that time was it would lead to a rematch and the winners would defend the AEW tag titles against the Young Bucks. The belief right now is that everything has changed.

We will have to wait and see who will be the champions when The Young Bucks come calling for their title shot but for now, the plans remain unclear.
