Cody Rhodes’ WWE merchandise is being sold more and more.
Cody Rhodes returned to WWE at WrestleMania 38 and has been treated as one of the top stars in the company ever since, with fans being incredibly invested in his stories and matches since making that return.
That interest has now translated to merchandise sales as reported by Fightful Select.
In a rarity, Fightful Select learned and subsequently confirmed within WWE that Cody Rhodes was able to outsell generic WWE merchandise at some recent live events. This doesn’t occur often, as generic merchandise generally includes basic WWE logo shirts, event merchandise and title belts. Cody Rhodes does great sales with weight belts, which are a high ticket item as well, but has had great success with merchandise since his return in 2022. We’re told that of late, John Cena has beaten Cody a couple of times, but generally it’s Rhodes, Cena or generic WWE merchandise topping the list.
Fightful Select
Rhodes is now currently scheduled to take on Damian Priest at WWE Crown Jewel, but picked up an ankle injury on Monday’s RAW after he was hit with a chair shot by Priest as his foot was pressed against the steel ring steps.
