Eddie Kingston Retains NJPW STRONG Openweight Title At Fighting Spirit Unleashed, Challenged By Satoshi Kojima
On October 28h at New Japan Pro-Wrestling presented Fighting Spirit Unleashed at Sam’s Town in Las Vegas.
On the show, Eddie Kingston defended his NJPW STRONG Openweight Title against Henare. Kingston was able to overcome the challenge of Henare and successfully defended his championship.
After the match, Satoshi Kojima appeared and came to the ring to challenge Eddie Kingston for the NJPW STRONG Openweight Title at NJPW Lonestar Shootout on November 10 at the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Texas.
Kojima told Kingston that he would “kick his ass” to which Kingston responded by saying he would see Kojima in “Texas motherf****r”. The two then shook hands to make the match official.
