Hiromu Takahashi Almost Loses DDT Pro Iron Man Heavy Metal Championship To Danny Limelight

Hiromu Takahashi and the DDT Pro Iron Man Heavy Metal Championship are never safe and are always being targeted.

The DDT Pro Iron Man Heavy Metal Championship is defended under 24/7 rules which NJPW superstar Hiromu Takahashi has quickly found out since winning the title from Kazuki Hirata on October 22nd in Tokyo, Japan.

At NJPW STRONG Fighting Spirit Unleashed, Takahashi teamed with Tetsuya Naito as they faced the IWGP World Heavyweight Champion SANADA and Yuya Uemura. The match went to a time limit draw. As Takahashi was heading backstage following the match, Danny Limelight surprised Takahashi at the curtain, rolled him up and nearly got the three count. Limelight then rolled up Takahashi again in a small package for another near fall. Takahashi grabbed his Iron Man Heavy Metal Championship and ran to the back with Limelight giving chase.

Hiromu Takahashi is scheduled to defend his Iron Man Heavy Metal Championship against Kazuki Hirata on November 12th at DDT Pro Wrestling’s Ultimate Party 2023 event but this match was almost cancelled by Danny Limelight.
