Jack Morris Comments On Winning The Pro Wrestling NOAH GHC National Title
On October 28th at NOAH’s DEMOLITION STAGE 2023 in FUKUOKA, Jack Morris defeated El Hijo de Dr Wagner Jr to become the new GHC National Champion. Morris hit an Avalanche Style Tiger Driver on Wagner Jr to put him away and become the new champion.
This was the second attempt by Jack Morris to win the GHC National Championship from El Hijo de Dr Wagner Jr. His first opportunity came on April 16th, 2023 as Wagner Jr defeated Morris. Jack Morris was the better man in his second try at the GHC National Title as he now holds that championship.
The title win made Jack Morris a double champion as he also holds one half of the GHC Heavyweight Tag Team Championship with Anthony Greene.
Backstage following his huge title victory on October 28th, Jack Morris commented on being the first European to win the GHC National Title:
I once challenged for the GHC National, but even though I lost, I never gave up and continued to work hard, and as a result of that, I was able to win the tag belts last month. I thought that was the best day of my life, but now that I have won the GHC National, I think the best day of my life has become even more amazing. I’m the first European to win the National title, and I have become the first European to be a double champion. It’s truly the best day of my life. This is a new beginning.
