Jerry Lynn Explains Why AEW Are Waiting Till Last Minute To Tell Talent Plans For Shows
Jerry Lynn explains why AEW wait till the last minute to tell talent plans for their shows.
AEW’s booking and creative has always been under the microscope for many fans as in the grand scheme of things, the company remains quite young by industry standards.
That being said, a more creatively free environment like AEW comes with its disadvantages, including long term plans ahead.
Dave Meltzer reports on Wrestling Observer Radio that shows have been booked differently in All Elite Wrestling as of late, with some talent arriving to shows not knowing what they will be doing.
AEW’s Jerry Lynn has responded to this report on social media, explaining why Tony Khan books his shows in this manor.
Because wrestlers and God knows who else have and continue to leak info to the sheets, podcasts, etc. So Tony tries to keep things confidential. You wouldn’t want to know everything before you see a movie. Anyone who leaks info is doing damage to the product and the industry.

We will have to wait and see if this form of booking will continue for AEW in the coming weeks.
