Latest Update On AEW’s Plans For Tag Team Championships At Full Gear
There is now more information on AEW’s plans for the AEW Tag Team Titles at Full Gear on November 18th.
As we fast approach the next time AEW will be on PPV, there has yet to be a booking for the AEW World Tag Team Championships. The current champions, Ricky Starks and Big Bill have been dealing with FTR as of late, but there has been much made about how plans have changed in the division in recent weeks.
Now, Dave Meltzer reports on Wrestling Observer Radio that one possibility he has heard is the champions defending against The Young Bucks at the Los Angeles show next month.
“The last I heard is that they may do Ricky Starks and Big Bill against the Young Bucks at Full Gear, but that’s not official. It was just one of many different things that was thrown out there. We’ll have to see how this all turns out.”
Dave Meltzer
The Young Bucks are currently two thirds of the Ring Of Honor Six Man Tag Team Champions and the Bucks won a number 1 contenders match for the AEW tag titles back at AEW WrestleDream.
We will have to wait and see what plans AEW will decide to go with for the show, but with just under three weeks to go until the show, time is beginning to play a factor.
