Jonathan Gresham: I’m Ready To Take The AJPW Jr Heavyweight Title Home To America
On October 31st, IMPACT Wrestling star Jonathan Gresham made his debut for All Japan Pro-Wrestling at the first night of the AJPW GIANT SERIES 2023 – HOKKAIDO EDITION tour.
Gresham teamed with Minoru Suzuki & Hokuto Omori as they defeated Shuji Ishikawa, Atsuki Aoyagi & Rising HAYATO. Gresham secured the win for his team by tapping out Rising HAYATO with a Standing STF submission hold.
Jonathan Gresham has an AJPW Jr Heavyweight Title match on November 5th against the current champion El Lindaman.
After the victory, Gresham had some post match comments as he claimed he will take the AJPW Jr Heavyweight Championship back with him to America.
I just teamed with Minoru Suzuki against some of the top juniors and heavyweights, Ishikawa-san, in All Japan Wrestling. I think with Minoru Suzuki being in that ring and I’m the one that got the victory mean El Lindaman, you got a match coming. I’m feeling hyped and I’m ready to take the All Japan Pro Wrestling Junior Heavyweight championship home to America.

Gresham’s next match is on November 1st and it’s a three way match as his opponents are scheduled to be Hikaru Sato and GLEAT star Fuminori Abe.
