Big E reveals that Ridge Holland sent him beef after a botched belly to belly left Big E with a broken neck.
Early in 2022, Big E suffered a broken neck when Ridge Holland accidently dropped him on his head with a belly to belly suplex.
Since then, E has been on the shelf with his injury with little in the way of information on his timetable for an in ring return, with E indicating he may never return from the injury.
Speaking on HOT 97, Big E revealed that Ridge Holland had a meaty gift for him after the injury.
“Yeah, we worked together before, and he’s a good dude, so I didn’t want him to feel bad. He actually sent me a box of meat rub. That’s how us men, that’s how we settle things, that’s how we smoke the peace pipe. He sent me a bunch of beef. But I don’t really eat red meat like that, so sent it to Johnny [Davenport]. It’s no hard feelings, things just went awry. There’s no malice, he didn’t mean to hurt me. He was posting that people were sending him death threats. Things go awry in wrestling. It happens. He didn’t mean it, we’re cool, it’s fine. Leave that man alone,”
Big E
We will have to wait and see if E will ever return to the ring but for now, it seems he is happy not wrestling for the time being.
