WWE has officially announced that WarGames will be a part of the Survivor Series PLE for the second straight year.
Seen below, a promo for Survivor Series aired during today’s Crown Jewel event, confirming that the men’s and women’s divisions will do battle inside the double-cage WarGames structure. There’s no word yet on who will be featured in each match.
The 2023 Survivor Series PLE will take place on Saturday, November 25th at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois.
Dusty Rhodes originally created WarGames for WCW/NWA, but Triple H brought the concept back for NXT in 2017. The NXT brand featured the match from 2017-2021. WWE brought WarGames to the main roster in 2022 for Survivor Series. The women’s match saw Becky Lynch, Asuka, Alexa Bliss, Mia Yim and Bianca Belair defeat Rhea Ripley, IYO SKY, Bayley, Dakota Kai and Nikki Cross, while the men’s match saw Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa, Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso and Sami Zayn defeat Kevin Owens, Drew McIntyre, Sheamus, Ridge Holland, and Butch.
