Big Championship Matches & More Announced For 11/8 AEW Dynamite
Five matches have been announced for Wednesday’s live AEW Dynamite, which will air live from the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon. Here is the current card:
*Jay White vs. Mark Briscoe. White looks to continue his nine-match singles winning streak on the way to challenging AEW World Champion MJF at Full Gear, while Briscoe wrestles his first singles match since June 29th after being out with a knee injury. Briscoe returned to the ring on Collision last night, teaming with Dustin Rhodes and Keith Lee to defeat Kip Sabian, Anthony Henry and JD Drake.
*Swerve Strickland vs. Penta El Zero Miedo, which will be their first-ever AEW singles match and their first since Strickland defeated Penta for the PCW ULTRA Heavyweight Championship at PCW ULTRA Believe on December 7th, 2018.
*Red Velvet vs. Julia Hart. This will be Velvet’s return from injury, and her first match since losing to Jade Cargill on the February 1st Dynamite.
*Samoa Joe defends the ROH World Television Championship against Keith Lee. This will be their first match. Lee issued the challenge on Collision and Joe accepted after being recognized as the longest-reigning ROH TV Champion in history. Joe commented on how he has beaten everyone, but Lee pointed to the fact that Joe has not defeated him.
*MJF defends the AEW World Championship against Daniel Garcia. Garcia issued the challenge to MJF after defeating Trent Beretta in the main event of Friday’s Rampage. MJF responded in the tweet seen below, and Tony Khan made it official.
