As previously reported, the UFC will hold their first show in Saudi Arabia on March 2nd of next year as part of Riyadh Season.
This deal came about in the last few weeks, and now means both individual companies of the TKO Group will have held shows in The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
While speaking to the Sports Business Journal, Dana would note that the recent deal between Saudi and the UFC came about thanks to Vince McMahon, who is now co-workers with McMahon within the TKO Group.
“It was Vince McMahon. It was 100% Vince McMahon. He made every call, he didn’t make one move without picking up the phone and calling me and getting me in the loop and seeing if I was cool with this and that. He went from being, oddly enough, I don’t know why, an enemy (of UFC’s), to being an unbelievable incredible partner,”

WWE was in Saudi Arabia just this weekend, as they hosted WWE Crown Jewel as part of the companies lucrative deal with the country for major Premium Live Events being hosted in the nation.
