Dana White Rules Out Ronda Rousey And Brock Lesnar For UFC 300
Ronda Rousey and Brock Lesnar will not return to the MMA realm for the upcoming UFC 300 event.
Although not set to happen until early 2024, much as been made about the potential card for the UFC’s 300th PPV event.
With such a big event, the card will surely be stacked just as UFC 100, 200 and other major events have been.
That being said, it seems the card will not feature two of the biggest stars to grace the sport of Mixed Martial Arts.
Speaking with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, Dana White ruled out a UFC 300 appearance from either Ronda Rousey or Brock Lesnar.
I get why everybody asks. I love that everybody loves them like that, and with so much passion. I do, too. But they’re definitely not coming back for UFC 300,”
“I always had an incredible working relationship with Brock Lesnar. t’s funny to say this because he’s such a grouchy dude, but I consider Brock Lesnar a friend,”
“I absolutely love Ronda Rousey. She’s one of the greatest athletes I’ve ever worked with. She’s a pioneer, an inspirational figure for women, and an all-around badass for UFC,”
Dana White
Rousey is currently scheduled to compete at the upcoming Wrestling REVOLVER Unreal show in aid of Lahaina Wildfire support.
Lesnar on the other hand is currently on hiatus from WWE, but is expected back in the new year.
