Gunther’s next challenger has been revealed.
On Monday Night RAW this week, a fatal four way matchup took place, with the winner earning a shot at the WWE Intercontinental Championship. The match featured The Miz, Bronson Reed, Ivar and Ricochet.
The match was a chaotic affair as fatal four way matches usually are, with the finish of the match confusing several fans.
Both Bronson Reed and Ivar would go for moves off the top rope on The Miz and Ricochet, but The Miz would move out of the way of Reed’s Tsunami, stacking him. Meanwhile, Ivar would pin Ricochet. Ricochet would kick out, but Bronson Reed did not.
As a result, The Miz is the new number 1 contender for the WWE Intercontinental Championship.
The match will take place at Survivor Series later this month.
