WWE And The CW Are Reportedly Close To Announcing Deal For NXT TV Rights
NXT’s new broadcasting home has been reportedly been revealed.
NXT has not officially found a home as of this writing, but now it seems that in September 2024, it will be airing on the CW Network if all goes to plan.
PWInsider now reports that WWE and The CW are nearing announcing a deal for NXT to air on the network after September 2024. It was also noted that the media rights fee will be a substantial increase on what USA paid for the brand previously.
Multiple sources in the broadcast industry have confirmed that the CW Network and WWE have been in deep discussions for weeks
The belief among some we have spoken with is the deal is VERY close to being completed with the deal expected to be around five years long. Once signed, it would easily be the biggest increase for WWE NXT media rights fees ever, http://PWInsider.com is told.

It was also noted that the CW have been shopping around with wrestling promotions, with WWE and NXT becoming the “frontrunners” recently.
NXT currently airs at 8PM EST on the USA network every Tuesday.
It was recently announced that SmackDown was heading to the USA Network following the expiration of WWE’s deal with FOX.
