WWE are considering kicking off WrestleMania weekend with NXT Stand And Deliver in 2024.
WrestleMania season is usually the biggest time of the year in WWE and that includes in NXT. Over the last few years the Stand And Deliver event for NXT has been a major part of WrestleMania weekend.
Now, WWE are looking to change the process.
WrestleVotes now reports that WWE are considering moving Stand And Deliver to the Thursday before WrestleMania 40.
On the heels of the CW announcement, I’m told discussions have taken place regarding NXT’s “Stand & Deliver” PLE scheduled for WrestleMania weekend. Those discussions have been about the placement of the show. Source states there is support for the show to “open” the weekend and be held on Thursday night at Wells Fargo Center. I was told while it “makes sense to some, it’s not ideal for others”. We’ll see how it turns out.
