Athena Calls For ROH Board Of Directors To Make Match With Thunder Rosa After Both Agree
Athena wants a match with the former AEW Women’s World Champion.
Rosa, who has been out of action for over a year now, has been dealing with issues related to her back and was forced to relinquish the AEW Women’s World Championship when she suffered her injury.
Her recovery has been going well according to reports over the last few months, as she has returned to training and bumping after such a long time on the shelf.
Athena on the other hand has been the Ring Of Honor Women’s World Champion, defending the title successfully on a consistent basis.
The two women would agree to the match on social media before the champion called on the ROH Board Of Directors to make the match.

Athena most recently defended the championship against Mercedes Martinez.
We will have to wait and see how long it will be before the two women cross paths again, but the two faced off in 2022 with Warrior Wrestling.
