Zac Efron discusses “The Iron Claw” and Kevin Von Erich’s reaction when he spoke to him.
Acclaimed film studio A24 released the trailer recently for the upcoming biopic on the tragic legacy of the Von Erich family, Iron Claw, featuring Zac Efron, Jeremy Allen White, Maxwell Friedman, and more.
Chavo Guerrero worked on the movie, as did AEW World Champion MJF.
In a new interview with Variety, Zac revealed a conversation he had with the real life Kevin Von Erich after the premiere of the movie.
“I was very curious about what he thought of the movie,” he shared. “We went out to the patio, sat forehead to forehead, and talked about life for an hour and a half. He told me that he did enjoy the movie. I can’t really put into words how that feels. It’s far and away the most important review to me on so many levels. It meant the world, and everything just came full circle.”

The Iron Claw is scheduled to release on December 22nd.
